Jumping Lunges — Raise your hand if lunges are the most loathsome exercise in the world. I have a special hate for anything that’s slow, mundane, and painful, but I know a deep lunge shapes my ass like no other exercise. But since I’m not one for torturing myself (or anyone else for that matter), I’m a big fan of adding a little explosion to my lunge sets.

Jumping lunges require you to keep your balance while exploding at the bottom of your lunge. Please understand that these lunges are not for the beginner, so don’t try these if you have any injury or can’t keep your balance in a stationary pose for at least ten seconds.
